English Language increases for Student and Temporary Graduate visa applications

I hear Immigration have informed education providers that English language requirements will be increasing for

– Student visa (subclass 500) applications

– Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) applications

Apparently, the increases are to apply to applications lodged on/after 23 March 2024.

As yet there is no official legal document to support this change. If you are intending to apply for one of those visas look out for this change!
